Zimmedari Ka Pahla Din (the first day of responsibility, of course, in religious terms) is Urdu translation, of Persian book, Jashn-e-Takleef (literally meaning celebration of binding/obligation) written by Ayatullah Mohammad Mohammadi Raishahri, one of the highly celebrated authority on Islamic Sciences, and specialist in tradition, known for his encyclopedic work, Mizan-ul-Hikmah
The book advocates celebrating the very first day of bulugh (attaining stage of being adult and) when one becomes ‘responsible’ in terms of religion, … being eligible to obey Islamic commands.
It presents justification of the author’s theory of ‘celebration’, the terms and conditions of the ‘responsibility’ its awareness and a first hand account of different religious commandments concerning this critical stage (youth age) of the life. The book is compiled in a text-book style and comprises 16 lessons.
